There's so much talent

Nope, definitely not talking about myself. Although, you could say I'm quite gifted at several things, such as turning my sister's house into a giant dumpster within seven days. Among other things, obviously.

Like I said, not what I was talking about. I'm talking about real talent. About friends who can write or create pure artworks with make-up or whatever their talent is.

The other day I was scrolling through Twitter and I saw this tweet from YouTube start Dodie Clark. She had a performance recently at Summer in The City and there was a picture of her performing with all her friends sitting in front of the stage just looking up at her in awe. I want that, is what I thought. Everyone just emitted pure respect without any jealousy whatsoever, despite being in the same industry making videos or singing.

I am always touched when I see stuff like that, because it's something I struggle with a lot myself. I can't deny having jealous tendencies, I'm sorry. Still, looking at what people are putting out into the world I can't help but get excited for when I can be one of those people gazing up in wonder at one of my friends just being their best self and just feeling amazed at knowing them.

Basically, I am often curious about the future; where will I end up and what will I be doing? But I guess right now I'm also so curious for my friends' futures. All of them. What will everyone be doing in five or ten years? I suppose what I'm saying is that we are all in this together. Figuring things out, I mean. I don't think anyone knows what their doing yet, and that's cool. We've got time. We'll get there. Together.

PS. yeah that's a bible quote in the image above. At least you can tell now that I'm finally taking a break from free stock images.
